I'm Spero Koulouras, and my journey with ALS began in the fall of 2019. Looking ahead, I naturally explored how technology could make my path easier. Fascinating innovations like eye tracking, Voice and Message banking, robotic feeding arms, and other cutting-edge tech exist, but their exorbitant costs raised eyebrows. Recognizing the challenges, I decided to focus on breaking free from dependency on foundation grants. Instead of investing heavily in traditional equipment, I made a decisive choice to build something better. Partnering with a skilled team at UCSD, we're on a mission to invent and revolutionize the tech landscape.
